We talked with Paige Pumphrey, a NYC based illustrator specializing in pin-up styled artwork that is heavily influenced by American comic books and animation, tattoos, and mid-century designs. She’s most well known for providing artwork for roller derby bouts, gig posters, burlesque shows, and comic book pinups.
She has also been very successful in promoting her style as a brand and we ask her advice on what artists could do to promote themselves.
She has some great words of wisdom that any artist and designer could learn from.

We sat down with Matthew Sylvester, a professional Painter, and Illustrator from Vermont.
