Welcome back to another episode of Storycomic Presents, hosted by Barney Smith. In this episode, we're thrilled to welcome back Andrew Gronosky, the internationally acclaimed game designer and owner of Shewstone Publishing. Andrew is the creative mind behind the best-selling FATE Core system game, Magonomia. Today, he joins us to discuss his latest project, Drintera—a system-independent fantasy world for tabletop roleplaying games inspired by heroic epics like Beowulf and The Odyssey.
In Drintera, the magic is as unpredictable as the dream logic of myth, and the gods themselves cannot command it. However, the deeds of mortals can shape the world's magic. The Age of Destiny is upon us, where small bands of adventurers can rise from humble beginnings to earn honors from the gods themselves. Whether braving the haunted tunnels beneath Red Pillar City or seeking ancient knowledge in the lost cities of the Ruinlight Desert, Drintera offers endless possibilities for heroic quests.
For more information on Drintera, visit Shewstone Publishing's website or check out their Patreon page for Drintera for world-building updates. Don't miss this captivating conversation as we delve into the magical world of Drintera and explore what makes it a unique setting for your next tabletop adventure.

Storycomic Presents:
This is your home for stories about comics or comic-based stories. We have a great time talking with storytellers and artists. We focus on all genres of prose, children's books, graphic novels, illustrations, and the people behind these works that bring joy and inquiry.
I created Storycomic initially as a publishing house for my own work, but as I connected with more artists and authors, I realized that there are many creatives who have great work to share and great advice to give.
What started out as an occasional Livestream platform to chat with my industry peers has turned into an acclaimed and internationally received podcast which has been streamed in over 50 countries.
